"Patience is power.
Patience is not an absence of action; rather, it is "timing."; it waits for the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way."
― Fulton J. Sheen
In a world of instant gratification, patience is getting harder and harder.
The elegance of waiting without imploding inside is an art.
It means we are mastering surrender, ceding to things we have no control over, and working in tangent with time and space.
It means we are breathing deeper and soothing the emotions that can accompany frustration.
It means we are free.
When we lose our patience, we just lose.
Period.
The end.
All kinds of things fall apart when we succumb to impatience.
… and when I find my patience well is running dry and I'm on the edge, I refer back to trust. Let it rain lemons; I will make lemonade.

“The two hardest tests on the spiritual road are the patience to wait for the right moment and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter.”
