تعلن جمعية النساء العربيات في الأردن (AWO) عن حاجتها إلى محامية للعمل ضمن مشروع يُنفذ بالشراكة مع منظمة Vento di Terra الإيطالية وبدعم من الوكالة الإيطالية للتعاون الإنمائي (AICS).

يهدف المشروع إلى تعزيز وصول النساء والفتيات، بمن فيهن النساء ذوات الإعاقة والناجيات أو المعرضات لخطر العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، إلى خدمات الحماية والدعم والتمكين في محافظة المفرق.

🔹 مدة العقد: من تموز/يوليو 2026 ولغاية تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2026

المؤهلات المطلوبة:
✔ أن تكون المتقدمة من سكان محافظة المفرق.
✔ حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في القانون.
✔ حاصلة على إجازة مزاولة مهنة سارية المفعول من نقابة المحامين الأردنيين.
✔ خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المجال القانوني.
✔ خبرة في تقديم الاستشارات القانونية للنساء والفتيات والفئات الأكثر عرضة للمخاطر.
✔ يفضل وجود خبرة في قضايا الحماية والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي (GBV) وحقوق النساء.
✔ مهارات جيدة في إعداد التقارير والتوثيق والتواصل مع المجتمعات المحلية.
✔ القدرة على العمل الميداني والتنسيق مع مقدمي الخدمات والجهات ذات العلاقة.

Job Opportunity | Lawyer – Mafraq

The Arab Women Organization of Jordan (AWO) is seeking to recruit a Lawyer under a project implemented in partnership with Vento di Terra (VdT) and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

The project aims to improve access to protection, support, and empowerment services for women and girls, including women with disabilities and survivors or those at risk of gender-based violence (GBV), in Mafraq Governorate.

🔹 Position: Lawyer
🔹 Duty Station: Mafraq Governorate
🔹 Contract Duration: July 2026 – October 2026

Required Qualifications:
✔ Resident of Mafraq Governorate.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Law.
✔ Valid license to practice law issued by the Jordan Bar Association.
✔ Minimum 5 years of relevant professional legal experience.
✔ Experience in providing legal consultations for women, girls, and vulnerable groups.
✔ Previous experience in protection, GBV, and women’s rights is highly desirable.
✔ Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
✔ Ability to coordinate with service providers and relevant stakeholders.

اختتمت جمعية النساء العربيات تنفيذ الورشة التدريبية السابعة حول القيادة السياسية للنساء، والتي عُقدت على مدار ثلاثة أيام ضمن مشروع “برنامج المشاركة والتمكين السياسي للنساء” بتنفيذ من جمعية النساء العربيات وبدعم من الوكالة الإسبانية للتعاون الإنمائي. شهدت الورشة مشاركة ناشطات من محافظتي جرش، عجلون و أربد حيث ركزت على بناء وتعزيز قدرات النساء في المجال السياسي، من خلال مجموعة من المحاور المتكاملة، شملت: سرد تاريخي للحياة السياسية في الأردن ومشاركة النساء، الإطار القانوني الناظم (قانون الأحزاب وقانون الانتخاب)، مهارات القيادة الشاملة، إضافة إلى مهارات التفاوض، الخطابة ،التواصل، المناصرة وكسب التأييد. تأتي هذه الورشة كخطوة أساسية نحو تمكين النساء وتعزيز حضورهن الفاعل في مواقع صنع القرار، بما ينسجم مع الجهود الوطنية والدولية لتحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين وتعزيز المشاركة السياسية للنساء في الأردن.
The Arab Women Organization held the seventh training workshop on Women’s Political Leadership, which was held over three days under the project “Women’s Political Participation and Empowerment Programme,” with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). The workshop brought together women activists from Jarash, Ajloun and Irbid governorates, focusing on building and strengthening women’s capacities in the political sphere through a set of integrated modules. These included a historical overview of political life in Jordan and women’s participation, the governing legal framework (Political Parties Law and Election Law), inclusive leadership skills, as well as negotiation, public speaking and communication, and advocacy and lobbying skills. This workshop represents a key step toward empowering women and enhancing their effective presence in decision-making positions, in alignment with national and international efforts to achieve gender equality and strengthen women’s political participation in Jordan.
