Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a world-wide movement that celebrates and promotes entrepreneurship in more than 125 countries. Where Is It? GEW Jordan initiatives will be held Zarqa', Mafraq, Tafileh, Madaba, Jarash, Karak, Ajloun, Amman, Aqaba, Irbid and Ma'an. Anyone and Everyone who supports the advancement of youth entrepreneurship should take part in GEW. Check out for event information. Since 2008, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) host organizations in over 100 countries, along with hundreds of partners, have held thousands of events which have inspired millions of people to embrace innovation, imagination, creativity – and entrepreneurship! Jordan was part of GEW’s success in 2009; and this year the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship once again host the Global Entrepreneurship Week from 18-24 November 2013. There are more than 1.5 million young Jordanians aged 15-24 who seek entrepreneurial knowledge and direction. GEW brings entrepreneurs and business leaders together to provide young people with the necessary support, education and inspiration each year. More than 50 activities have been organized with over 15 partners to run during the week designed to engage students, educators, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
