في محافظة المفرق، اختتمت منظمة أوكسفام برنامج تدريب مهني متخصص في الخياطة، جمع بين سيدات أردنيات وسوريات، حيث تلقين أكثر من 150 ساعة من التدريب العملي المكثف. ركّز البرنامج على تطوير المهارات التطبيقية في الخياطة وصناعة الدمى، إلى جانب جلسات في إدارة الأعمال الأساسية، والتسويق، والمهارات المالية، مما مكّن المشاركات من إنتاج وتسويق منتجات نسيجية مثل الملابس والدمى والألعاب القماشية.
وفي ختام البرنامج، أكملت 18 سيدة التدريب وحصلن على ماكينات خياطة لدعمهن لبدء مشاريع منزلية خاصة بهن وتطبيق المهارات التي اكتسبنها بشكل مباشر.
وبمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة 2026، يجسد هذا البرنامج روح شعار “العطاء من أجل الكسب”؛ فعندما تحصل النساء على المهارات والأدوات والفرص، يكتسبن ويعززن صمودهن الاقتصادي ويساهمن بفاعلية في دعم أسرهن ومجتمعاتهن.
True empowerment begins when opportunities are made available.
In Mafraq Governorate, Oxfam concluded a specialized vocational training program in sewing that brought together Jordanian and Syrian women, who received more than 150 hours of intensive hands-on training. The program focused on developing practical skills in sewing and doll-making, alongside sessions on basic business management, marketing, and financial skills, enabling participants to produce and market textile products such as clothing, dolls, and fabric toys.
At the end of the program, 18 women successfully completed the training and received sewing machines to support them in launching their own home-based businesses and immediately applying the skills they had gained.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, this program reflects the spirit of the theme “Give to Gain.” When women gain access to skills, tools, and opportunities, they strengthen their economic resilience and contribute meaningfully to supporting their families and communities.
