🌍♻️ في إطار فعاليات شهر البيئة والمناخ، نظمت منظمة أوكسفام في الأردن، بدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي وبالتعاون مع منظمات دولية والشرطة المجتمعية والسكان المحليين، حملة تنظيف بيئية في مخيم الزعتري للاجئين تحت شعار "معاً لمخيم أنظف".
🌱 وقد نجحت الحملة في توحيد جهود المجتمع المحلي من خلال أنشطة التنظيف، وجلسات التوعية بأهمية إعادة التدوير، بالإضافة إلى الأنشطة الرياضية والفنية التفاعلية، مما يعزز المسؤولية المشتركة تجاه تحقيق بيئة أنظف.
🎨 كما شهدت الحملة تنظيم بازار "حرف من بيئتنا" بالتعاون مع المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR)، والذي استعرض منتجات يدوية إبداعية صنعها سكان المخيم من مواد معاد تدويرها وقابلة لإعادة
🌍♻️ As part of Environment and Climate Month, Oxfam in Jordan, with EU support and together with international organisations, community police and local residents, organised an environmental clean-up campaign in Za’atari Refugee Camp under the slogan “Together for a Cleaner Camp”.

🌱 The campaign brought the community together through clean-up activities, recycling awareness sessions, and interactive sports and arts activities, promoting shared responsibility for a cleaner environment.

🎨 The “Crafts from Our Environment” bazaar, organised with UNHCR, showcased creative handmade products made from reusable and recyclable materials by camp residents.

لأن حماية بيئتنا البحرية لا تنتهي بانتهاء حملة، اجتمعنا في العقبة للعام الثاني على التوالي، شركاء ومؤسسات وطلبة ومتطوعين وأفراداً من المجتمع المحلي، لنحوّل الوعي البيئي إلى عمل ملموس.

من تنظيف الشاطئ وقاع البحر، إلى زراعة الأشجار وتعزيز الممارسات المسؤولة في إدارة النفايات، نواصل العمل معاً من أجل خليج عقبة أنظف وبيئة بحرية أكثر استدامة.

الموجة مستمرة... والعمل مستمر. 🌊

🌊 The Wave Continues...

Protecting our marine environment goes beyond a single campaign.

For the second consecutive year, partners, institutions, students, volunteers, and local communities came together in Aqaba to turn environmental awareness into tangible action.

From cleaning the beach and seabed to planting trees and promoting responsible waste management, we continue working together for a cleaner Gulf of Aqaba and a more sustainable marine environment.

The wave continues — and so does our action. 🌊

Under the theme “The Wave Continues”, the event will combine a beach and dive clean-up, environmental awareness activities, planting, sustainable waste solutions and Waste-to-Art activities. Volunteer divers will collect waste from the marine area while participants take part in activities on the beach. The programme will also include sustainable waste-disposal solutions and the planting of native, drought-resilient trees suited to Aqaba’s coastal environment.

The event will take place in the Aqaba Marine Reserve area, Aqaba, Jordan, on 29 September 2026, with registration starting at 08:40 and activities continuing until approximately 14:20.

في إطار عملية مراجعة جودة برامج أوكسفام وإعداد التقرير الموحّد للبرامج، اجتمعنا مع شركائنا في مساحة مشتركة للتعلّم والتأمل، لمراجعة جودة البرامج، واستعراض أبرز الإنجازات والنتائج، ومناقشة التحديات والدروس المستفادة، والتحقق من النتائج، والاتفاق على إجراءات مشتركة تسهم في تعزيز جودة برامجنا وفاعليتها وأثرها.

As part of Oxfam’s programme quality review and consolidated programme reporting process, we brought together our partners for a shared space of learning and reflection to review programme quality, reflect on key achievements and results, discuss challenges and lessons learned, validate findings, and agree on joint actions to further strengthen the quality, effectiveness, and impact of our programmes.

We believe that learning, accountability, and collective reflection with our partners are essential to continuously improving our work, strengthening programme impact, and working together towards more sustainable and responsive outcomes for the communities we work with.
