يسرّنا أن نشارككم إنجاز الكنيسة الأسقفية في الفحيص Ibrahim Nairouz وهي واحدة من شبكة الكنائس الدامجة حيث قاموا بتهيئة مداخلها، بعد إطلاق المشروع، بما يضمن استقبال الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة بكرامة واستقلالية ⛪

تعكس هذه الخطوة التزامًا عمليًا بتعزيز مفهوم الدمج داخل دور العبادة، وإتاحة الوصول لجميع أفراد المجتمع دون استثناء 🌿

✨ A Step Toward Inclusion | Inclusive Churches Network ✨

"I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’"

We are pleased to share the achievement of the Episcopal Church in Fuheis, which is one of the Inclusive Churches Network, where its entrances have been adapted following the launch of the project, ensuring the welcoming of persons with disabilities with dignity and independence ⛪

This step reflects a practical commitment toward fostering inclusion within places of worship and ensuring accessibility for all members of the community 🌿

Special thanks to Accessible Jordan - الأردن المهيأ for their technical support as part of the Inclusive Churches Project 🙏

Together, we move forward toward more inclusive churches for persons with disabilities, where everyone is welcome.

اليوم نحتفل بمرور عامين على انطلاق "أردن دامج – Inclusive Jordan"
ما بدأ كفكرة، أصبح رحلة مليئة بالتأثير، والدمج، والمحبة.

نحن ممتنون لكل شخص كان جزءًا من هذه المسيرة — دعمكم يعني لنا الكثير.

لأن الله محبة،
ومعًا نواصل بناء أردن أكثر دمجًا وعدالة 💙

Today marks 2 years since the start of Inclusive Jordan.
What began as a vision has grown into a journey of impact, inclusion, and love.
We are so grateful for every person who walked this path with us — your support truly means everything.

Because God is love,
and together we continue building a more inclusive Jordan.

اليوم جمعنا لقاء مختلف… أمهات، كل وحدة فيهم عندها قصة فريدة مع التوحد 💙

من أمهات لسه ببداية الطريق، لأمهات وصلوا مع أبنائهم للجامعة… كان هدف اللقاء بسيط وعميق:
خلق مساحة آمنة تتشارك فيها الأمهات الخبرات، ويتعلمن من بعض، ويقوّين بعض.

سألنا أسئلة قريبة من القلب:
شو أكتر موقف أثر فيكِ؟ شو أصعب لحظة مريتي فيها؟ وإذا في أم جديدة بهالرحلة، شو بتوجهي لها من نصيحة؟

وكانت الإجابات صادقة ومليانة مشاعر…

إحدى الأمهات قالت إن وجود ابنها علّمها معنى جديد للفرح ما كانت رح تعرفه بدونه.
وأم أخرى شاركت إنها بالبداية كانت تعاتب ربنا كثير… واليوم بتشكره إنها أم لطفل عنده توحد.
وأم قالت جملة بتختصر الرحلة كلها:
"الإصرار كان أهم إشي بهالرحلة."

وأم اختصرت هدف هالقعدة لما قالت:
"يا ريت كان عندي فرصة أسمع نصيحة من أم مشيت بهاي الرحلة."
واليوم هاي المساحة كانت هي الجواب…

مساحة فيها مشاركة، دعم، وتجارب بتوصل لكل أم جديدة إنها مش لحالها 🤍

شكر خاص لـ CHLF على دعمهم لهذه المبادرة وإتاحة هذه المساحة الآمنة للأمهات.

لأن مشاركة القصة ممكن تغيّر طريق حدا تاني.

Today we gathered for a different kind of meeting… mothers, each with her own unique journey with autism 💙

From mothers at the very beginning of the path to mothers whose children are now at university, the aim of the session was simple yet deep:
to create a safe space where mothers can share experiences, learn from one another, and support each other.

We asked questions close to the heart:
What was the most impactful moment in your journey? What was the hardest moment you went through? And if you could speak to a new mother on this path, what advice would you give her?

The answers were honest and full of emotion…

One mother shared that her child taught her a new meaning of joy she would have never experienced otherwise.
Another said that at the beginning she struggled and questioned everything, but today she finds herself grateful for being a mother to a child with autism.
A mother summed up the journey in one sentence:
“Persistence was the most important thing in this journey.”

And one mother captured the purpose of this gathering when she said:
“I wish I had the chance to hear advice from a mother who had already walked this path.”
And today, this space became that answer…

A space of sharing, support, and reassurance that no mother is alone on this journey 🤍

Because sharing stories can change someone else’s path.

✨ Family Day Out | Autism Awareness Day ✨

💙💙💙
As part of Autism Awareness Day, we gathered with parents and caregivers for a meaningful and honest conversation. Together, we explored the stereotypes society often attaches to autism—then we listened to mothers share their lived realities, reminding us what is truly real beyond those labels.

We also had the opportunity to hear from Basma Gammoh, who highlighted the importance of changing the stereotypical ideas that society plants in our minds—ideas that shape our feelings and, ultimately, our behaviors.

It was a beautiful and impactful day. The children played, laughed, and simply enjoyed being themselves in a safe and inclusive environment 🌿

بمناسبة يوم التوعية باضطراب طيف التوحد، اجتمعنا مع الأهل ومقدمي الرعاية في جلسة حوارية صادقة ومهمة. ناقشنا معًا الصور النمطية التي يتداولها المجتمع عن التوحد، ثم استمعنا لأمهات شاركن تجاربهن الحقيقية، ليؤكدن لنا الفرق بين هذه الصور وبين الواقع.

كما شاركتنا السيدة بسمة قموه حول أهمية تغيير الأفكار النمطية التي يزرعها المجتمع في عقولنا، والتي تؤثر على مشاعرنا وبالتالي على سلوكنا.

كان يومًا مليئًا بالمعنى، حيث لعب الأطفال واستمتعوا بوقتهم في بيئة دامجة وآمنة 🌿

So proud of Saba! 🌟
I first met him when he was a student at school, and today, at just 17 years old, he’s doing his internship with us at Inclusive Jordan as part of his school requirements.

It was an honor to work with him as a student, and it is an even greater honor to now work alongside him. Watching his growth, dedication, and positive spirit makes me truly proud. This is only the beginning of a bright journey ahead, Saba! 💙
