Working with Jordan’s Higher Population Council and the Ministry of Health, USAID-funded Jordan Communication, Advocacy and Policy Project (JCAP) supports the Jordan National Family Planning Strategy and contributes to USAID/Jordan’s priority result of “Improved family health outcomes in Jordan.” The Project’s overall strategic objective is to increase the use and continuation of family planning/r
eproductive health (FP/RH) services as a safe, effective, and acceptable way to ensure a healthy family, build a sustainable community, and maintain a secure Jordan. Our ultimate beneficiary is the Jordanian family; its members’ health, well-being and socio-economic prosperity. Our key audience groups include Jordanian women, men, young adults, Syrian refugees and stakeholders who have influence on their fertility behaviors, norms and goals. All our interventions emphasize the integration of female empowerment and male engagement. We also aim to increase youth involvement and reach out to host communities of Syrian refugees living outside camps.
يعمل مشروع تواصل لسعادة الأسرة "تواصل" الممول من الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية (USAID) مع شركائه في وزارة الصحة والمجلس الأعلى للسكان، بالإضافة إلى العديد من الشركاء في القطاعين الحكومي وغير الحكومي، من أجل التغلب على التحديات والمعيقات التي تواجه عملية تحقيق الأهداف الوطنية التي نصت عليه الاستراتيجة الوطنية للصحة الإنجابية/ تنظيم الأسرة.
ويهدف المشروع، الممتد على خمس سنوات (2014-2019)، الى زيادة الطلب على خدمات تنظيم الأسرة والصحة الإنجابية وكذلك تحسين وتمكين بيئة سياسات داعمة لهذه الخدمات على المستوى الوطني.
نُركز في تواصل على صحة الأسرة الأردنية وسلامة أفرادها. وبشكل خاص النساء الأردنيات والرجال، بالإضافة إلى فئة الشباب والفئات المعنية ذات الـتأثير على الممارسات الخاصة بتنظيم الأسرة. كما ويسعى المشروع من خلال أنشطته الى تأكيد التكامل بين تمكين المرأة ومشاركة الرجل، وزيادة مشاركة الشباب بالإضافة للوصول إلى المجتمعات المضيفة للاجئين السوريين خارج المخيمات في الأردن.
