اختتم مشروع طبيعة بالشراكة مع أكاديمية طقس العرب، جلسات توعية "أبطال المناخ" حول التغير المناخي وإدارة مخاطر الكوارث، والتي استهدفت طلبة المدارس في منطقة ذيبان ومليح والأزرق ووادي موسى.
هدفت الجلسات إلى تعزيز فهم الطلبة للمخاطر المناخية التي تواجه مجتمعاتهم، وربط المعرفة بالحياة اليومية من خلال أنشطة تفاعلية وأمثلة عملية تساعدهم على إدراك أهمية الاستعداد المبكر، ومتابعة الأحوال الجوية والتحذيرات المرتبطة بها. وكجزء من تحويل المعرفة إلى ممارسة، تم تزويد المدارس المستهدفة بألواح طقس تفاعلية، تتيح للطلبة متابعة وتحديث النشرة الجوية الأسبوعية، بما يعزز مهاراتهم في الرصد والتخطيط والاستجابة السليمة للظروف الجوية.
متحمسون لرؤية الطلبة وهم يوظفون هذه المعرفة والأدوات الجديدة داخل مدارسهم، ليساهموا في بناء جيل أكثر وعيًا وقادرًا على دعم منعة مجتمعاته في مواجهة التحديات المناخية. 🌍
The Tabeaa Project, in partnership with ArabiaWeather Academy , concluded the “Climate Champions” awareness sessions on climate change and disaster risk management, targeting school students in Dieban, Mlaih, Azraq, and Wadi Musa.
The sessions aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of the climate risks facing their communities and connect this knowledge to their daily lives through interactive activities and practical examples.
They also helped students recognize the importance of early preparedness, monitoring weather conditions, and following related alerts. As part of turning knowledge into practice, targeted schools were equipped with interactive weather boards, enabling students to monitor and update weekly weather forecasts while strengthening their skills in observation, planning, and safe response to weather conditions.
We are excited to see students apply this new knowledge and these tools within their schools, contributing to building a more aware generation capable of supporting their communities’ resilience in the face of climate challenges. 🌍
