إن المخيم الصيفي كتجربة فريدة من نوعها في الأردن والذي ترعاه جمعية رعاية اليتيم الخيرية - حوض البقعة، يأتي في خضم الصعوبات العديدة التي يمر بها العمل التطوعي في كل مكان، مسجلاً نشاطاً متميزاً تشارك مع جمعيات الأطفال الأيتام ولجان الفتيان الأيتام في أندية مخيمات اللاجئين في الاردن وفلسطين،
بني هذا النشاط على مجموعة من القيم الوطنية والدينية التي تحث على رعاية اليتيم، ضمن قالب يعت
مد على الفرح والحب في برامجه، مع إتاحة الفرص الجديدة للإبداع والترويح والتعلم واللعب.
ويعتمد المخيم الصيفي على قيم إنسانية أساسية، ضمن قالب يحاول غرس ثقافة جديدة في نفوس الأطفال الزهرات والفتيان والقادة ومساعديهم المشاركين، الذين يبدؤون خطواتهم الأولى على أرض المخيم بحذر خجل، سرعان ما يتحول إلى شجاعة واعتماد على النفس في جو أسري، محاولين غرف ما أمكن من التجربة الجديدة الماثلة أمامهم، والراسخة في عمق التاريخ.
إن المخيم الصيفي التجربة الأكثر نبلاً وتنوعاً، قطع من أحجية سرعان ما تنتظم وتتشكل مع مرور الوقت، غرفت أشكالاً وألحاناً من الأرض العربية. من عبق الياسمين الدمشقي، طهر أرض الأقصى، وجريان نهر الأردن، من قباب بغداد، وأهرامات الجيزة، رافضةً التشرّد والتغرّب والتراجع، تنشد بصوت عالٍ: موطني .. الجلال والجمال والسناء والبهاء في رباك.
وجد المخيم الصيفي من أجل الفرح والحب، تنفّسوا هواء أشجاره الباسمات، وأمواج بجره العالي، عيشوا مع أطفاله ليلة واحدة لتعرفوا كم هم رائعون وقادرون على الحياة، اصنعوا معهم المستقبل، حلّقوا إلى الأعلى باسمين حالمين، أشعلوا شمعته الواحدة والأربعين التي ستبقى مشتعلة رغم الرياح المحيطة، ضوء في نهاية نفق، درب نصنعها بأنفسنا .. هكذا هو المخيم. This is the camp
As a unique experience in Jordan, the summer camp that is organized by the Orphan Welfare Association – Baqa'a Suburb, came in the middle of the various obstacles affecting the voluntarily work everywhere, drawing an extraordinary event with the participation of Orphan Welfare Associations in the Palestinian refugee camps of Jordan and West Bank, with the support of UNRWA in Amman Training Center, the place where this noble and humanitarian work is held annually
This event was built upon a group of religious and national groups of values and ethics that teach us to take care of the orphan, with love and happiness fulfilling its programs, while giving the opportunity to new creative ideas of entertainment, learning and playing
The summer camp depends on basic humanitarian values, in a way to build a new healthy culture in these orphan children, leaders and volunteers who start their first steps in the camp with shy carefulness, rapidly changed into a courage and self-confidence in an environment of strong bonds and relations day after day during the camp life, trying to benefit as much as they can from the valued experience in front of their eyes which was kept with honor in history
The most noble and extraordinary experience the summer camp is, pieces of puzzles rapidly organized and formed by time, took parts and pictures of the Arabic land, from the Damascus jasmine, the pure of Jerusalem, the extent of Jordan River, from Baghdad domes and Al-Jizah pyramids, declaring a shout of no to homelessness and retreating, singing in a loud voice together: my home .. dignity, beauty, splendor and glory (The National Arabic Anthem)
The summer camp was found for happiness and love, breath the air coming through the willow leaves among it, the waves of its high sea, live with children one night to know how wonderful their smiles are, how much hope they keep, and how able to live they are, create with them future of success, fly high and dream, light the number 41 flame of the camp, that will remain lightened regardless of the winds around, a light at the end of the tunnel is a way we create ourselves … this is the camp
