Dedicated to sharing Christ's love with people in need by providing basic needs and abundant love.

Kingdom Buiders Ministry sponsors children's education through the Go 2 School program, hosts short term mission teams and intern missions, and supports communities' physical and spiritual needs. Working with short-term mission teams and intern missionaries, KBM nurtures people in the community to spiritual and physical maturity as well as ministering to the surrounding areas of the island of Jamaica.

**Barrels of Hope: The rebuilding continues in Jamaica 🇯🇲**

On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica. Many of our friends and former residents of My Father’s House are still working to rebuild their homes, livelihoods, and lives.

Thanks to your generosity, we sent **12 barrels of supplies**. Since then, Kingdom Builders Ministry has continued helping in practical ways. Here are just a few examples of the assistance you have made possible:

• Helped Duran get his scuba diving business running again as he works to build his clientele.
• Rebuilt Monique’s kitchen.
• Helped make Deanna’s home livable again and get her catering business up and running.
• Helped Jadah get her beauty shop ready for business.
• Sponsored 6 students complete last school year and begin this school year.
• Helped Moses with medical issues related to his service in the Jamaica police force.
• Helped JodiAnn clear and fence in her land.

**Now JodiAnn needs help building her home.** Clearing the land and putting up the fence were important first steps, but she needs financial help to keep going. Any amount you can give will bring her closer to having a home again.

Many of you remember Deanna from My Father‘s House. Her two youngest are in great need of sponsors. Deanna has not worked since the hurricane. She is searching for a job and hoping the sponsorship will be temporary.

Dhestini:
She is in Kindergarten class 1. She is four years old. School fee per term is $17,000 jmd. Lunch fee is $8000 jmd per month.

Israel:
She attends Petersville Primary and is currently in Grade 2 at the age of 7.
Fees includes taxi fare at a cost of $30,000 jmd per month and lunch at a cost of $10,000 per month.

These basic fees, total nearly US$410 per month. Can you help with just a portion? We are praying for 10 people to pledge $40 a month for three months? Kingdom Builders Ministry will do all they can to help these girls stay in school through the end of the school year. Jamaica goes to school through July.

💙 Barrels of Hope – Project Follow-Up 💙

We wanted to share an update and a HUGE thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and supported the Barrels of Hope project.

📦 12 barrels were sent
• 8 barrels — one for each family
• 4 barrels — shared between 2 different communities

As we were packing, things felt a little uncertain. Up until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we had collected very little. We were honestly wondering if we might need to return empty barrels or combine two families into one barrel.

On Monday, Penie walked our neighborhood, sharing about the project with neighbors. And then… God showed up in a big way 🙌

By Wednesday, our home looked like a thrift store! Every single barrel was filled — pressed down and filled again — with more added on top. Every barrel was full.

We even received a few specific requests. One was for a toaster oven. We didn’t think it was a necessity… but apparently God did. A neighbor called us out of the blue asking if we could use a toaster oven! 💙

🚢 Current Update:
The barrels are currently at Montego Bay Harbor, waiting to clear customs. So much is entering the country right now, which is wonderful, but we are praying our friends — especially the children — receive their barrels very soon.

💔 Ongoing Need:
Meanwhile, KBM has been sending financial support to many of our former residents who are struggling greatly. Even those with jobs are finding it nearly impossible to make ends meet because employers lost everything or have very little work. Paying rent and buying food has become overwhelming.

Two of our girls, JodiAnn and Deanna, lost their homes in the storm. KBM would like to help them rebuild. (pics in comments )

Praying for the Barrels to get cleared in a timely manner. They are in Montego Bay Port. Everybody’s anxiously awaiting! We had hoped they’d clear before Christmas, but now we’ll be happy whenever it happens! Thank you for all of your contributions and prayers! ♥️
