The Good Juju Project The Good JuJu Project is a quest to inspire visitors of Jamaica to give back what they can to the local people.

We promote school, medical supplies and clothing donations, scholarship programs, shoe drives, and continuous school renovations. The lovely beaches, turquoise waters and reggae music of Jamaica's tropical paradise can lead us to overlook the truth about the socioeconomic condition of the Jamaican people. Characterized by a poor education system, high cost of living and extremely low-paid jobs, the native Jamaican way of life does not include bathrooms, hot water or even running water in many communities. Children often do not begin or finish school due to parents' lack of financial means to send them. JuJu's goal is to 'uncover' for our guests the reality of Jamaica with the hope that our visitors are inspired to contribute what they can.

CPR is one of the most important universal skills that all should know how to do correctly. Today Good Juju and the nurses from Van Dkye Assisted Living are trying to spread that skill to as many people as possible, starting with the Broughton Remnant Basic School. Both parents and young children are receiving lessons on how to save a life!

"It's been a while since we've posted, we've been incredibly busy with our community outreach programs. Today, we are at the Broughton Primary School with nurses Debbie and Lisa from NJ's Van D**e Nursing home, who are teaching free CPR and first aid to the entire school and staff!"

In honor of , I hope you will join me in making a donation to our charity, The Good Juju Project. Our goal this winter term is to finish construction of the basic school's office and send our students on a field trip to the Rockland Bird Sanctuary. What makes this term's fundraiser even more exciting is that our most generous donor, Jon Panning and his wife Alisa, have initiated a challenge, offering to match EVERY donation, dollar for dollar, up to $2050. How SPECTACULAR is that! Donations can be made through the Eastwick Foundations website by clicking the link below. Even the smallest of contributions, ($1, $5, $10) make a tremendous difference!

In case you've been wondering what your past contributions have been put towards, here are some pictures of the first day of school, 2016. Happy kids and happy parents. We hope we can keep them happy by continuing to improve their educational experience.

Thank you from ALL of us at the Broughton Remnant Basic School in Jamaica!

Here is Ceteeber's official first day of her prosthetic adventure, being measured and fitted for one arm and two customized prosthetic legs by the most generous doctors we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Current prognosis: Cetebeer most likely will not require amputation, but the custom legs will need to begin at a very short level and grow taller as she learns to balance, an imperative task before learning to walk. She shared with us that she is most excited to dance and walk with her children into KFC for a celebratory meal. The biggest thanks to Dr. Brandon Sampson, Dr. Daniel Tellijohn and Rachel Raub of Minessota's Limb Lab for giving Ceteeber and numerous other Jamaicans the gift of a lifetime. We look forward to keeping you all updated on Ceteeber's magnificent journey!

Juju Tours' very first customers, Paul and Wanda from Tennessee, come back to Jamaica every year and bring suitcases of donations with them. This year was goodie bags filled with pencils, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, games and lots of other fun gifts for the sixth graders at Broughton Primary School who are about to take their big high school entry exams. Wishing them all the best of luck!

Last year, our Canadian tour guests did some thorough fundraising before their Jamaican vacation, with which we were able to build and donate this beautiful playground to Broughton Primary School in Westmoreland! It is the school's first-ever playground and the kids are simply thrilled. Thanks to our Canadian friends! ♡
