Better hearing. Greater awareness. A healthier community!

Last week at The Tryall Club, our Let’s Hear initiative brought together hearing care, diabetes screening and practical health education for our community. In partnership with Hearing the Call we provided hearing assessments and care for children in our Basic Schools and Tryall staff, alongside education on protecting hearing for the long term.

From safe earwax removal and noise awareness to understanding diabetes risk, our goal is to give participants both care and knowledge they can carry into everyday life.

At its Stars Under the Stars event on September 24, World Cares Center celebrated 25 years of community disaster response and honoured Tryall Fund board member Nanci Kraus with its 25th Anniversary Ready Responders Award. The award recognized her immediate response after Hurricane Melissa and her dedication to helping Jamaica recover while strengthening physical and mental health support for future leaders.

We’re proud to see Nanci’s commitment to the communities around Tryall recognized in this way.
