Petersfield Galloway Benevolent Society Community-based organization geared towards facilitating community development and awareness in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica.

The Association of Community Based Organizations, also known as Association of Clubs (AOC), is a twenty-eight (29) years old community-based organization that develops and implements strategies and policies to address the principal socio-economic issues facing the Westmoreland rural communities. We network with other organizations in order to stimulate community action through sustainable, self-re

liant projects that meet the challenges facing communities and the country. The AOCBO is a consortium or a group, of seven Westmoreland community-based organizations. The AOCBO is based in the farming community of Petersfield, Westmoreland and currently operates under six (6) programme areas, namely: (1) Frank Morgan Loan Program, (2) Village Tourism for Education, Volunteerism and Development, (3) Education Training and Environmental Sensitization, (4) Jamaica Cuba Friendship Association - Westmoreland Chapter (5) Culture and Sports and (6) Video Animation and Advocacy.
