Happy National Heroes’ Day!

The Merl Grove High School International Past Students’ Alliance honours Jamaica’s seven national heroes, whose courage, sacrifice, and determination helped shape our nation.

As we celebrate their legacy, we also salute the everyday champions whose service strengthens our schools and communities.

May we honour the past through our actions today—empowering our students, serving others, and inspiring the next generation. 💙💛

💙💛 Welcoming Our Newest Gems — Class of 2031! 💎

On Monday, September 7, 2026, the MGHS International Past Students’ Alliance was pleased to host its **Grade 7 Orientation Program**, welcoming our newest Gems as they begin their journey at Merl Grove High School.

As part of the welcome, each Grade 7 student received a special packet containing a welcome letter, information about the various MGHS past student organizations, a commemorative bookmark, and a special “Welcome GEM – Class of 2031” button to celebrate their official welcome into the Merl Grove family.

The program is designed to foster school spirit, belonging, and alumni engagement from the very beginning of each student’s Merl Grove journey.

A special thank you to our **past students, volunteers, school administration, teachers, and everyone who helped make the day possible**.
