The Minister of Finance, Fayval Williams recently announced that the Government will reserve 20 per cent of public procurement contracts for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), a move aimed at strengthening the participation of local businesses in national development.
The move has received strong support from our President, Cordell Williams.

Speaking with Jamaica Observer she endorsed the measure, highlighting its potential to increase access to government contracts and drive the growth and long-term sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises across Jamaica.
