The UWIDEF would like to highlight recent scholar, Sabrina Duncan✨. Here’s what she had to say:

I am truly honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Chris C. Williams Scholarship.

When I began my university journey, I was uncertain about how I would pay my tuition fees. I didn’t have a clear financial path, but I made the decision to trust God wholeheartedly. I held on to Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” With that scripture in my heart, I committed to working hard, giving my best, and allowing God to guide me every step of the way.

Receiving this scholarship was more than just financial support; it was a powerful reminder that God always provides a way. The burden of financial stress was lifted, allowing me to focus entirely on my studies and exams without fear or distraction. It gave me the peace of mind I needed to continue moving forward.

I hope my story encourages others who may be experiencing uncertainty right now. You may not have all the answers, but if you trust God, work hard, and remain faithful, doors will open that you never expected. I started this journey with God, and I know I will finish it with Him by my side.
