🎓 Preparing Campion Students for Life Beyond the Classroom

Campion College’s Guidance & Counselling Department is currently working closely with our exam students on résumés, application letters, and interview skills as they prepare for the next chapter after Campion.

We’re inviting alumni, employers, and organisations to partner with us by offering summer placement opportunities — whether paid or voluntary — that students can apply and interview for.

The Campion College Alumni Association joins the Campion community in mourning the passing of Dorothy Hobson, OD, former Sportsmaster of Campion College.

Miss Hobson’s years at Campion left a lasting mark. Through sport, she instilled discipline, teamwork, and pride, influencing generations of students far beyond the playing field. Many Campionites carry her lessons with them to this day.

Her impact reached well beyond the school gates. A pioneer of women’s cricket, she represented the West Indies at the inaugural Women’s Cricket World Cup in 1973 and later served the region as a coach, selector, and administrator. In a statement dated January 10, 2026, Olivia Grange recognised her as a trailblazer whose leadership opened doors for women and girls in sport across Jamaica and the Caribbean.

We extend heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, former colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched. We remember her with gratitude and respect.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Celebrating the people behind the legacy 💙

Campion’s Long Service Awards Ceremony, postponed due to Hurricane Melissa, were finally held on January 12 during Founders’ Week—and the moment was well worth the wait.

In an intimate setting, we honoured teachers and staff whose dedication has shaped school life and left a lasting mark on generations of Campionites. From quiet consistency to unwavering care, their service reminds us that Campion’s strength has always come from its people.

The CCAA proudly salutes all honourees and thanks Campion for creating space to recognise those whose commitment continues to steady and sustain the institution.
