The establishment of the Council is designed around a central body speaking with one voice to address the needs of the communities, civic groups and business interest or assist its members in anyway possible. The Council main objectives are;
To improve the economic and social well being of the communities of Hellshire. To promote the security and safety of the residents of Hellshire
To protect an
d improve the physical environment and historical resources in the area. To make representation on behave of All Citizens’ Association, Youth and Civic Group and business interest at the Portmore Citizens’ Advisory Council (PCAC). To work with all Citizens’ Association, Youth and Civic Groups as well as business interest to ensure that these groups do not fall into in-activeness. To create mechanism policies to govern the operations of the Citizens’ Association, Youth and Civic Groups.
