Mission: To promote the strengths and abilities of the youths of Jamaica, ages 18 years and younger, by
providing educational assistance, empowering and enriching each to face life’s challenges with
confidence and competence with dignity. We see ourselves as role models that not only persistently work hard academically but also we
constantly try to improve my own community's quality of life by
doing voluntary work. We
believe that education is the key to success, therefore we try to connect our passion for education
with the desire of helping others. It is important for the youths of Jamaica to know that no matter
the struggles they face they can still do well. Education should be a right, not a privilege, and when we see that students are being denied the
right of acquiring education, we see the need to take action. Education is the ladder by which
anyone can climb out of poverty. When living in poverty, all people face are; headaches, stomach
aches and behavioural problems and some students are not able to concentrate and perform well
in school. Having faced some form of poverty, we are committed to reforming public education. We have a
particular interest in ending poverty and nurturing lives through education, identity development
and community engagement to the youths of Jamaica who are lacking educational support.. From
our own experiences; We are familiar with the despair and frustration endemic to individuals
struggling to survive. We are convinced that increasing individuals’ access to education can
make the difference between despondency and hope. Therefore we will continue to encourage
students to learn, serve and transform through programming that encompasses leadership,
diversity and service.
