Ewarton CDC The Ewarton Community Development Committee started operations in January 1999. The C.D.C. works in collaboration with the Social Development Commission (SDC).

The community of Ewarton is a geographic area comprising of twenty three (23) districts. These districts start from Jericho and stretch to Mt Rosser, which borders St Ann. Some of these districts are Browns Town, Charlemont Housing Scheme, Orangefield District, Cotton Piece, Riverhead, Bushy Park Housing Scheme and Nutshell. The community of Ewarton has an estimated population of 15,631 and an edu

cational institution enrollment of 63.2% of school aged residents. is the local representation to the government, we report to the S.D.C. with community problems and concerns. The S.D.C. in return uses the information received from the local representatives to make recommendations to the government.
