Elizabeth Parish Development Committee (PDC) was created in 1999 as part of a program aimed at improving local authority processes throughout Jamaica. Based on the belief that progress requires the input and participation of local communities (individuals, business and community-based organizations) the PDC was created as an independent body to serve the interests of communities.
