Fancy becoming a badger?
Anyone aged 6-10 can join a Badger Sett, these groups operate at St Martin and HQ Midvale Road. They usually meet once a week in term time for around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Badgers take part in fun activities for different subjects, earning badges and certificates for each one. For every three subjects a Badger completes, they can receive a bronze, silver, or gold award.
These subjects are taught in a fun and easy to understand way, they include the following topics:
⭐Heathy Badger - healthy eating and food preparation
⭐Active Badger - sports, healthy lifestyle and team games

As well as the Super Badger Award, other events and activities that a Badger can be involved in are:
⭐Craft Days
⭐Swimming Galas
⭐First Aid Competitions
⭐Badger Camps
⭐Flag Days
⭐Parades
When a Badger reaches the age of 9 they may become involved in the Follow Me Badger Scheme; this gives the Badger extra responsibility in the Sett and aims to help them help younger members of the Sett as well as preparing for moving up to Cadets.
