Donating to our Charity Shop? Here are a few friendly reminders!
To help us process your donations safely and efficiently, please follow these simple guidelines:
🚗 Arriving: Please drive slowly into the tunnel, choose one of the four bays, if there is space take the one closest to exit, switch off your engine and wait in your vehicle until a team member signals that we’re ready to help. If there’s a queue, please be patient.
📦 Please sort your donations: Bric-a-brac, toys (including puzzles and games), electricals, books and clothes (including linen, shoes and bags). This helps our staff and volunteers work faster and keeps everyone safe.
✨ Quality matters! Please donate clean, complete items in good, saleable condition, free from stains and mould, and in working order where applicable.
🛍️ Bags and boxes: We kindly ask you not to request the bags or boxes you use to bring in your donations back, as this takes valuable time away from our staff and volunteers.
🙏 Please don’t be offended if we have to refuse an item. This may be due to its condition or health and safety (H&S) concerns.
♻️ Please think before you donate! We recycle as much as we possibly can, but items that cannot be sold or recycled have to be disposed of. This costs us both time and money, as we have to pay for disposal.
🕙 Our Donation Drop-Off Lane is open every day from 10 AM to 4 PM! 🚗💚
