Our #369 Scouts have officially completed their Exploration Expedition! 🥾🏕️
Over the last two days they have shown fantastic resilience, teamwork and determination whilst adapting to changes, exploring new places and supporting each other every step of the way.
From visits to Jersey Maritime Museum and La Hougue Bie to their final 2.9km hike through to Queen’s Valley Reservoir, the Scouts embraced every challenge with positivity, enthusiasm and plenty of muddy boots along the way! 🌿👣
We have seen some brilliant young leaders emerge throughout the expedition and could not be prouder of the way they encouraged and supported one another during the journey. 💪👏
As we come to the end of Volunteers’ Week, we also want to give a huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers. From planning routes and transporting equipment to cooking breakfasts, supporting young people and giving up their weekends, none of these adventures would happen without you. ❤️
Scouting in Jersey is built on volunteers who give their time, energy and heart to creating opportunities and memories that young people will never forget. Thank you for everything you do for 6th Jersey scout group, and for Scouting across the island.
