Scott's platinum wedding band recovered at Anne Port.

The ring slipped from his finger towards the end of a kayaking session earlier today

I found a great shot of Anne Port that Andy Le Gresley Photography had taken from a drone and asked Scott to indicate the area in which he lost his ring on the photo. As it happens, Scott was still on the beach when I arrived and he pointed out the search area. After a relatively short search I heard the distinctive sound of a ring sitting just under the sand..

My friend Harry messaged me on Thursday to see if I could help by searching for a platinum and diamond earring that one of his wife's colleagues had lost.

Harry arranged for permission for me to search at the location and put me in contact with his friend, Charlie, who works there.

I met Charlie this morning and we went to the spot.
Unfortunately, it proved impossible to use a metal detector due to a large amount of underground metal in the search location. However, I was very, very (very!) lucky to spot a tiny piece of the earring which was just visible in the ground.

A number of people came together to make this possible and the lady will now have her earring returned - via Steve, Charlie, Harry and Jess 🙂

He messaged me last week and I have searched on three separate occasions since.
I've had a few unsuccessful recovery attempts recently, so it's nice have a good result with this one.

An Apple watch recovered in Grouville Bay today after it detached from its strap and fell into the water yesterday afternoon.

I heard it before I saw it, but the corner of the watch was just peaking out from the sand.

Apple devices have good water resistance, so I think that the watch will survive its dip 🤞🏻
