LOOKING FOR A HOME - RESERVED

Our 9-10 month old sibling girls Gypsy and Willow (formerly Kitty and Kat) are enjoying the sunshine and exploring under the watchful eye of their foster sister.

It really is time they had a home of their own. Are they the stereotypical black cats that get overlooked? We hope not. They are sweet girls who enjoy a fuss. They can live with other cats, dogs and children, all of which they’ve had exposure to.

They do enjoy their time outdoors and will not be homed as indoor only cats. Town or homes near busy roads would need a secure outside area, ideally we are looking for a country home for them.

Please pm if you have any questions or for an application form if you think you can give the girls their happy ever after. 🐈‍⬛❤️ 🐈‍⬛

URGENT EMERGENCY FOSTER / FOSTER WITH VIEW TO ADOPT

7 year old female blind sh*tzu who has just had eyes removed so will need some post op care (trip to vet appointments and medication).

Very sweet and good with being handled.

Adjusting well without sight (sight was very limited and she was in pain before op).

Ideally a home which is around much of the day and on one floor or with stair gates. Secure garden or balcony would be amazing.

Not known with cats
Potential to live with other dogs but calm ones who will give space to adjust
Potential for children over 8 if good with dogs and space for dog to be away from visiting friends.

Please send us a pm if you can help.

FOSTER / FOSTER WITH VIEW TO ADOPT / ADOPTION HOME NEEDED

Pepe and Coco are 9 year old poodle brothers.
They came to Jersey when they were 2 years old from another lovely rescue but due to travel anxiety, we have stepped in for rehoming.

They are looking for a new home due to changes in their current set up.

We would welcome those who may be able to foster until a new home is found as well as interest for adoption.

Both are lovely friendly boys and are looking for a quieter household where they can have company most of the time. They can be left but aren’t used to long or regular periods.

They are currently living with a toddler and baby and find the noises and general life schedule of young children causes anxiety so a home without young children is needed - visiting children would be fine with safe space for them to rest in if wanted.

They currently don’t travel well so a new home should consider this and if regular, longer travel was required, working on supporting them with this would be needed.

Due to their breed, they will need regular grooming which a new home should consider costs of. We cover the cost of grooming for our foster homes.

Both are very friendly and love nothing more than sitting on or next to humans (their own or visiting!) on the sofa.

They love walks and go out with a professional dog walker presently.

They could live with dog(s) but unsure on cats at this time.

They would be most relaxed if they were able to sleep in the bedroom with their human(s).

At this time, we are only considering applications for adopting or fostering as a pair but we will consider homing separately if we don’t find a home together and there is another calm dog in the household.

URGENT EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED - until 24th May

These 2 lovely older (14 &15) ladies need a sofa and some cuddles together for a couple of weeks.

Could be with another calm dog / dogs. Not sure on cats. Probably not children unless very quiet and peaceful set up.

Can you help? Ideally for all the time but some of the dates would be workable too.

Our supportive owner Steve Wharmby is running the Newport half marathon tomorrow in memory of his whippet Pip who sadly passed away last year, just shy of 18 years.

Many of you met Pip over the years at our walks along with Footy and more recently Xanos. She really was the sweetest soul and unbelievably was abandoned at a charity shop in Ireland. Steve and Pip were meant to be in each other lives and we know she has left a void. We love that Steve is running in such a special girl’s memory and grateful that funds raised are being donated to JRD.

We wish you the very best for your run Steve, we’re all cheering you on from afar.

If you would like to support Steve please donate via his Just Giving page. Thank you.🙏

LOOKING FOR A HOME

Kitty and Kat are female siblings thought to be around 9 months old. Life started for them on a traveler site in the UK. They’ve adapted well to home life and are litter trained.

Kitty with the longer fur is the braver of the two and enjoys lap cuddles, Kat is more on her terms but does soon come round.

We are looking for a home together as they are used to each others company. We’d like them to be able to enjoy the outdoors as this is what they are used to. We would be looking for a country location away from busy roads.

They can be homed with children and could live with a canine friend if used to cats.

If you would like to apply to adopt Kitty and Kat please pm this page providing your email address and we will email you a form. They are in foster in Jersey and can be met.

NB The shaved areas you see in the photos are from their spay operations.

A huge thanks to Corrina and the team at Laikas Legacy who have provided day care for 2 of our dogs recently.

Rescue often takes a village and our dogs spending time with other dogs in such a special setting as offered by Laikas Legacy is a massive help and one where our foster homes couldn’t have helped our dogs without.
