Yesterday we paid our respects to the wonderful Sir David Kirch KBE

He was a great and generous supporter of Age Concern and the Island, he was also a past President of ours

The members sat together and watched the service at Age Concern HQ at Val Plaisant it was very moving

Thank you Sir David for all your support to the elderly in the community we appreciate it so much

Good evening everyone

We have been saddened by the news that people have been seen helping themselves to items from our donation bin items that have been kindly donated to us by our wonderful supporters.

As you know we are a charity and these items are to help us with raising funds for the elderly in the community.

We ask you politely to please do not do this, if you are that desperate please come and see us at the shop we may be able to help.

CCTV cameras are in action.

All of us at Age Concern would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We are remembering the members we have loved, lost and miss this year our thoughts are with their families.

We would also like to thank you so much for all your continued support during 2025 we are so grateful.

Have a great Christmas everyone and we look forward to seeing you all next year when we reopen on Monday 05 January 2026.

Good morning everyone

Just to let you know that the Age Concern Charity Shop will be closed over the Christmas period as follows

Closing Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 4pm and reopening on Tuesday 06 January 2026 at 9am

Any donations can still be left in our donation bin up at Rondels Farm Shop

Also our main headquarters at Val Plaisant will be closing the afternoon of Tuesday 23 December 2025 and reopen on Monday 05 January 2026 at 9am

Everyone at Age Concern would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to thank you so much for all your support during 2025 you are the best 🥰

Good morning everyone

We thought we would update you on what is happening with the roadworks that are now in progress up to Rondels Farm Shop where our charity shop is located.

We can assure you that the Age Concern Charity Shop, Hank Marvins and The Gooseberry Bush will be open for business as normal up at Rondels Farm Shop in Trinity.

Please see attached links for Liberty Bus, together with a map of the the route for the number 5 bus which takes you practically to our front door also a map of the of the roadworks.

We are now all set up for Christmas with loads of bargains to be found.

Please pop up and see us all we will be so happy to see you😀
