Looking forward to our Beaulieu Insights talk at Beaulieu Convent School tomorrow evening.

The online world young people are navigating looks very different from the one many parents and carers experienced growing up. Questions about online pressure, relationships, image-sharing and changing digital risks can leave many parents and carers unsure how best to respond.

In this practical session our Executive Director, Sarah Willing, will help parents and carers better understand the online world that their young people are navigating, including:

* online pressure, social influence and digital relationships
* image-sharing, consent and online boundaries
* how wider online culture can shape expectations
* emerging trends and changing digital risks

YouMatter is looking for passionate Educators to help deliver engaging workshops in schools and community settings across Jersey, supporting children and young people to build confidence, resilience, healthy relationships and emotional wellbeing.

YouMatter is looking for an experienced administrator to join our team.

This is a part-time, flexible role (8–10 hours per week in term time) supporting the behind-the-scenes work that makes our education with children and young people possible.

The role includes administration, finance support and education operations. It would suit someone organised, reliable, and happy working independently as part of a small, purpose-driven charity.

Pay: £16–£18 per hour

This half term, in the run up to Safer Internet Day next month, we are focussing on Online Safety with Year 5 and Cyberbullying with Year 6. We’ve had lots of great discussions around how the choices we make can impact ourselves and others, and considered how we can all make the internet a safer place.

Do you have a passion for helping children and young people grow in confidence, make healthy choices, and navigate modern life? We’re looking for a new Educator to join the YouMatter team.

You’ll deliver our engaging, evidence-based PSHE and RSHE workshops across Jersey’s schools and community settings, empowering young people to build self-esteem, resilience, and positive relationships.

We’ve recently been able to update the terms of the role following some unexpected additional funding, and we’re excited to re-open applications. If you’re enthusiastic, able to connect well with children and young people, and ready to make a real difference; we’d love to hear from you! (Primary specialism particularly welcome.)
