🎨 SMALL CANVASES, BIG IMPACT – WHAT A WONDERFUL CREATIVE JOURNEY!

Our Small Canvases, Big Impact: Memories and Dreams groups have now come to an end, and today we were delighted to display some of the beautiful artwork created by our families in the bar gallery at Cafejac, Jersey Arts Centre!

A huge thank you to all the amazing families who took part, embraced their creativity and shared their memories, hopes and dreams through art. It has been wonderful to see parents and children creating together, trying new techniques and producing such unique and meaningful pieces.

As you can see from our photos and video, there really have been some fantastic creations! Every piece tells its own story, and we couldn't be prouder of what our families have achieved.

A special thank you to our talented artist-educators Sophia and Melissa from ArtHouse Jersey, and to Life At Aztec and Haute Vallée School for sponsoring this wonderful project and helping us bring it to life.

🍂🐷 DADS CLUB – AUTUMN COLOURS & FARM ANIMALS! 🐮🍁

What a lovely morning we had at Brighter Futures Dads Club last Sunday. 💙
This month's theme was Autumn Colours & Farm Animals, and we were delighted to welcome 12 dads and 13 children to The Bridge for a fun-filled morning together!

🍁 Leaf sticking was a firm favourite with our little ones, who enjoyed getting creative with autumn colours, while the bikes and slides proved just as popular!
🥓 And of course, a special thank you to our wonderful volunteer Phil, who kept everyone happy with his delicious bacon rolls! 😋

It was another lovely opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their children, enjoy some fun activities and catch up with other dads. 💙

🧡 A BIG THANK YOU TO THE JERSEY CO-OP COMMUNITY FUND! 🧡

Thanks to a generous £1,000 grant, our Brighter Futures Costume Club has been helping families in Jersey borrow children's fancy-dress costumes FREE of charge! 🎭

From World Book Day to school events, the Costume Club helps reduce financial pressures while ensuring children can join in the fun with confidence.

💬 "The Costume Club took away the worry of having to buy another costume. My daughter was so excited to dress up for World Book Day."

♻️ By reusing costumes, we're also reducing waste and making a lasting difference.

A huge thank you to the Channel Islands Co-operative Community Fund for making this possible! 🧡

Calling all Dads in Jersey! 👨‍👧‍👦

Our next Brighter Futures Dads Club is happening this Sunday, 11 October, at The Bridge, and this month we’re celebrating Autumn Colours & Farm Animals! 🍂🐑🐷

We’ve got lots of activities planned for dads and their little ones to enjoy together:

🎨 Arts & crafts – leaf printing and painting using beautiful autumn colours
🍁 Autumn-themed activities
🐮 Farm animal fun
🚲 Outdoor bikes
⚽ Ball games – weather permitting!
