Exciting news for the North of St Helier! 🌿

We are thrilled to announce that the La Pouquelaye Community Garden is officially open. What was once a neglected site has been transformed into a vibrant "green sanctuary" designed to connect our community and provide a peaceful, accessible retreat for everyone.

Whether you're looking for a quiet space, a sensory experience, or a place for multi-generational engagement, this garden is here for you. We’ve even included dedicated areas to support residents with mobility needs and those facing social challenges.

This project was a true community effort, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of the Parish of St Helier, the Jersey Community Foundation, Condor Ferries, JEC, Jersey Water, Andium Homes, Ogier, and all our partners.

Come by, take a walk, and enjoy this new space—we look forward to seeing the community flourish here!

In December 2025 we awarded four local frontline charities with grants of £2,000 in acknowledgement of the great work they undertake to individuals in need of vital support to survive as living costs continue to grow on the island.

Speaking to representatives of these charities namely The Grace Trust, Jersey Shelter Trust, Caritas Jersey, and Street Pastors the common theme was that an increasing number of individuals are accessing their respective services on a monthly basis, so we are extremely pleased to be able to help them continue their vital services.

In the coming days we will update you on an exciting project in the North of St Helier which is nearing completion so please keep a look out.
