Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey Offering islanders emotional, practical and wellbeing support.

Macmillan Jersey offers free emotional, practical and wellbeing information and support to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends - through their preferred route of contact. Supporting them in a way that meets their individual needs from diagnosis and beyond, and from whichever source is best placed to deliver this.

52 cyclists. Two coasts. Some of Europe’s most demanding climbs. And an incredible £236,000 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey. 🚴💚

In 2025, the Macmillan Jersey Tour des Pyrénées took riders from Biarritz on the Atlantic coast to Collioure on the Mediterranean.

Together they tackled steep mountain roads, long days in the saddle and iconic climbs including the Col d’Aspin, Col d’Aubisque, Col du Soulor, Col de Chioula and Col de Jau.

The result was a record-breaking fundraising total that will help us continue providing free emotional, practical and wellbeing support to islanders affected by cancer and their families.

A huge thank you to every cyclist, sponsor, supporter and family member who helped make it possible, and to Deloitte, Investec and Walkers for sponsoring the challenge.

Every mile made a difference.

🎧 WHITE COLLAR DJ REVEAL #5: MEET KIAH! 🎧

At 24, Kiah is ready to swap nights on the dancefloor for her moment behind the decks!

Dance music has always been a big part of her life, and she loves heading to different sets with her friends whenever she can. Her current favourites include The Trip and Sam Alfred—so that might give you a little clue about the tunes she’ll be bringing on the night. 👀

Away from music, Kiah enjoys cooking, playing netball and going out with the girls.

Kiah said: “I’m so excited to be the one spinning the tunes!”

“The first time I walked into The Oasis Centre I felt anxious, but now it feels like a breath of fresh air.”

After being diagnosed with melanoma in 2025, Stuart knew he needed support beyond the care he was receiving from family and friends.
A Holistic Needs Assessment opened the door to emotional support, complementary therapy, relaxation and meditation sessions, and the reassurance that he could drop into The Oasis when he needed someone to talk to.

Stuart said: “Sometimes just having someone who will sit, listen and give you their time makes all the difference.”

His story is an important reminder that asking for support is not a sign of weakness. You don’t have to face cancer alone, and you don’t need to wait until you are struggling to get in touch.

Over the past five years, Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey has grown and developed its services to meet the changing needs of islanders affected by cancer.

Between 2021 and 2025, we provided:
💚 2,863 counselling and higher-level emotional support sessions
💚 2,745 complementary therapy sessions
💚 5,099 group wellbeing attendances
💚 940 practical support interventions
💚 663 Holistic Needs Assessments

Counselling and higher-level emotional support sessions more than doubled during this period, increasing from 407 in 2021 to 835 in 2025.

Complementary therapy sessions also rose from 405 to a record 965 - an increase of 138%.

These figures show more than growth. They show thousands of occasions when someone in Jersey affected by cancer did not have to face things alone.

WOW - White Collar DJ 2026 is officially SOLD OUT! 🎧💚

A huge thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and will be joining us at The Royal Yacht Hotel on 14 November.

Your support means so much and will help Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey continue providing free emotional, practical and wellbeing support to Islanders affected by cancer.

Thank you also to our brilliant DJs, who are stepping well outside their comfort zones, learning a completely new skill and fundraising along the way.

Cancer can affect every part of life - not only someone’s physical health.

That is why our support looks at the whole person.

During 2025, our team completed 226 Holistic Needs Assessments, helping people identify their physical, emotional, practical and financial concerns and create an individual care plan.

We also made 955 follow-up support calls and provided 141 practical support sessions.

It means needs can be recognised earlier, support can be coordinated and every person can receive help shaped around what matters to them.

Because no two experiences of cancer are the same.

Behind every number is a person, a family and a moment when support mattered.

In 2025, Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey:
💚 Provided 4,253 support sessions to islanders affected by cancer
💚 Welcomed 308 people to our drop-in centre without a referral
💚 Delivered 835 counselling and higher-level emotional support sessions
💚 Provided 965 complementary therapy sessions
💚 Saw 1,086 attendances at our group support sessions

We also raised £961,276 and invested £890,035 in our work supporting people affected by cancer in Jersey.

None of this would have been possible without our team, volunteers, fundraisers, donors, partners and the people who continue to place their trust in us.
