Bag packing is about so much more than raising money. It's a brilliant opportunity for our young people to:

🤝 Give back to our community by doing a good turn!

💰 Raise vital funds to help provide more adventures, activities and opportunities for our members.

🙌 Experience the value of volunteering and giving their time to help others.

⚜️ Be seen in our community, showing what Scouting is all about and the skills for life our young people are developing every week.

📍 Co-op Grand Marché, St Helier
⏰ 09:30–16:30 today

If you're popping into the Co-op, please say hello, support our bag packers, and help our young people make a difference!

Even our youngest members who are 4 year olds, Squirrels will be there at 10.30!

THANK YOU again to our awesome adult volunteers for giving up more of their time to organise and be part of this event.

🎉 *Happy 92nd Anniversary, 3rd Jersey (St Saviour) Scout Group!* 💛❤️

Today we celebrate 92 years of adventure, friendship, skills, laughter and opportunities to be amazing, since the Group was established on 29 September 1934.

We are proud to be one of the Scouts Groups making up Jersey Scouts!

And what makes 3rd Jersey so special is our AWESOME volunteers!

We are also so proud to have the much younger Group, (est. August 1974) the 9th Jersey by our sides! ❤️

To every one of our amazing adult volunteers, we thank them for their time, energy, ideas, patience and enthusiasm they give to our young people. Whether they are helping every week, supporting behind the scenes, camping, organising, fundraising or simply stepping in when needed, THEY make Scouting happen.

From Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts through to our Young Leaders, they are helping create experiences and memories that our young people will carry with them for years to come. 🌟

Here's to 92 years of 3rd Jersey Scout Group , and to all the adventures still waiting for us! 🏕️✈️🔥🌊

Same community. New adventures.

The sun is shining... and we're ready! ☀️🚗

We're absolutely delighted to be supporting this year's La Ferme Farm Fun Day, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic day for the whole community. If you've got your tickets, we'll see you there!

Our amazing volunteers from the 3rd, 6th & 9th Jersey Scout Groups will be helping visitors park their cars throughout the day... and don't worry, there's plenty of parking available!

Supporting events like this is a huge part of what Scouting is all about. It allows us to give back to our local community, showcase the incredible experiences Scouting offers young people across the Island, and raise vital funds to support future adventures.

Next week, 38 of our young people and 10 adult volunteers head to the Poacher International Jamboree for an unforgettable week of adventure, friendship and learning. Thanks to fundraising events like today's car parking, we've been able to subsidise the cost for every young person and, importantly, cover the costs for our volunteer leaders who have generously taken a week away from work to make this experience possible.

Every pound raised helps us do this without dipping into our reserves.

If you can't make it to La Ferme today, you're certainly missing a brilliant event... but you can still support our Scouts!

Simply scan the QR code or use the donation link below.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps create life-changing opportunities for young people across our Scout Groups.

Thank you for your continued support. It really does make a difference. ❤️

There has been a huge amount of work behind the scenes to get us to this point and to get us ready to get is off- island!

It might be the summer holidays, but Scouting had not stopped for us!

Last night, thanks to LAB-6, our branded #369 kit was ready for collection and this afternoon it was packed into every member’s kit bag. Over 500 items have printed!

Thanks also to Claire The WoggleMakers for our bespoke, branded woggles.

Thanks also to MBC Promotions Ltd for awesome ‘reflective’ neckerchiefs!

We can’t wait to see everyone collecting their kit and counting down to an incredible week at Poacher Jamboree 2026.

Every week, Scout volunteers quietly make a difference.

They give up evenings after work, weekends with family, and countless hours behind the scenes to help young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and create memories that last a lifetime.

They don't do it for recognition... but that doesn't mean they don't deserve it.

💚 A simple nomination for the Jersey Evening Post Pride of Jersey Awards, could mean the world to someone who has spent years giving their time to others.

We are absolutely delighted with the incredible woggles Claire The WoggleMakers made for our Poacher International Jamboree trip. 😊 They are beautifully made, full of detail and exactly what we hoped for.

Claire is an amazing lady who puts so much care, time and dedication into her work. ❤️ Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, and she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. You can really see how much pride she takes in every single item she creates. ✨

Her service has been fantastic from start to finish, and the finished woggles are something our young people and leaders will be proud to wear on such a special trip. 🏕️

If you need personalised woggles made, Claire at The WoggleMakers is absolutely the person to see. 👍 Talented, reliable, caring and a genuine pleasure to work with. We cannot recommend her and her business highly enough.

Thank you so much, Claire. 🙏 You have helped make our Poacher Jamboree experience even more special!
