Hanuman b.v. is a private, non-profit association (Italian ONLUS – Organizzazione Non Lucrativa di Utilità Sociale) established in Milan, July 26, 2001, according to the provisions of Italian Law DL n. 460/04.12.97. Hbv applied for application for inclusion in the listing of official Italian non-profit organizations to the Finance Ministry August 17, 2001. Hbv is an independent, completely non-pol
itical and non religiously affiliated non-profit organization, which acts without any discrimination based on race, religion, sex or opinion, and all members and participants operate freely as volunteers. Hbv is born from the spontaneous efforts of five friends, enthusiastic travellers, from diverse cities and professional backgrounds. They each personally witnessed the great difficulties, particularly amongst children, caused by poverty and abuse in distant corners of the world from their individual tranquil realities. Hbv is an association open to all who share hope for the infinity of children that suffer the daily difficulties in places subject to the sad reality of war and extreme poverty, and to those who care about social, civil, and cultural solidarity, without the aim of profit. Hbv is sustained and operates through the donations of all who believe in the value of solidarity and peace, through the contribution of its members, through the contribution of private institutions and the government, public institutions and organizations which support concrete activities and projects, contributions of international organizations, reimbursal from agreements, donations and inheritances, and the product of marginal sales and production activities.
