Designed to enrich EAERE’s activities as an international scientific association, the Environmental, Natural Resource and Sustainable Development Economics series offers a concise, accessible, and interdisciplinary format for high-quality, policy-relevant research.

Bridging economics, ecology, and policy, the series synthesises cutting-edge research, theoretical frameworks, and practical case studies. Covering topics such as climate economics, biodiversity, and sustainable development, it equips academics, policymakers, and students with insights to address today’s pressing environmental challenges.

Led by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Dr. Phoebe Koundouri and supported by an Editorial Board including Simone Borghesi, Michael Hanemann, and Madhu Khanna, the series complements EAERE’s established journals and strengthens the Association’s publication ecosystem.

🌍 EAERE Secretariat moves to Athens

After many years of being hosted in Italy, the EAERE Secretariat will be managed from 2026 by the Athens University of Economics and Business - Οικονομικό Παν. Αθηνών (AUEB), through its Resees, Research Laboratory AUEB (ReSEES), part of the Ae4ria - Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria , with Magda Benaki serving as Council Member and Secretary General.

This transition reflects EAERE’s strong international character and highlights the growing importance of environmental and resource economics research at AUEB. We look forward to this new phase for the EAERE community.
