🇪🇺🎓 Day 6 – Six Days of Learning, Inclusion and Innovation!
Si conclude la nostra mobilità Erasmus+ presso Pixie Academy a Dalaman, in Turchia, dopo sei giornate di formazione condivise con i nostri colleghi locali di Kizil Elma APS! 🤝
Durante l'ultima giornata abbiamo presentato i risultati del nostro lavoro, condiviso le esperienze formative e valutato le competenze acquisite nell'utilizzo di strumenti digitali, metodologie innovative e approcci inclusivi nell'educazione degli adulti.
Abbiamo inoltre riflettuto su come trasferire queste conoscenze nelle nostre future attività, per rendere l'apprendimento sempre più accessibile, partecipativo e attento ai bisogni di ogni persona.
🎓 La consegna dei certificati ha rappresentato un momento significativo per concludere questa esperienza di crescita professionale e collaborazione.

Day 8 – Violence Awareness Quiz & Interactive Learning

The eighth day of BRAVE YOUTH focused on testing and strengthening participants’ knowledge about violence through an interactive quiz.

Participants answered a variety of questions related to different forms of violence, laws and legal protections, discrimination, rights, prevention, and appropriate responses to harmful situations. For each question, participants had to discuss the possible answers, vote for the option they believed was correct, and then compare their choices with the correct answer.

The activity created an engaging and competitive atmosphere while also helping participants review what they had learned throughout the project. Some questions led to further discussions, especially when participants had different opinions or when laws and approaches differed between countries.

Through the quiz, participants were able to identify gaps in their knowledge, clarify important concepts, and learn new facts related to violence and its prevention in an interactive way.

Overall, Day 8 combined learning, competition, discussion and teamwork, allowing participants to strengthen their understanding of violence while actively participating and sharing their perspectives. 🌍

The sixth day of BRAVE YOUTH focused on cooperation, decision-making, negotiation, and developing practical solutions for preventing violence in society.

The main activity of the day was the BRAVE Youth Summit. Participants were divided into different stakeholder groups representing young people, schools and teachers, NGOs and youth workers, local government and public services, and media/social media platforms. Each group looked at violence prevention from the perspective of its stakeholder and discussed its responsibilities, priorities, and possible actions.

The groups then developed concrete proposals aimed at creating safer communities and reducing different forms of violence. Participants had to discuss their ideas within their teams, select the most important actions, and prepare arguments explaining why their proposals should be included in a common strategy.

During the next stage, the stakeholder groups met and negotiated with each other, exchanged ideas, looked for common priorities, and made compromises. This allowed participants to experience how different parts of society may have different perspectives but still need to cooperate in order to address violence effectively.

The activity concluded with a joint discussion in which participants presented their strongest proposals and worked towards creating a shared BRAVE Youth Action Plan Against Violence. The session encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, communication, leadership, and active youth participation.

At the end of the day, participants reflected on the importance of cooperation between young people, educational institutions, civil society, public authorities, and media in creating safer and more inclusive communities. 🌍

Day 6 – Build a Violence-Free City 🏙️💡

Day 6 of BRAVE YOUTH was dedicated to finding practical solutions to different problems connected to violence in society.

Participants were divided into groups, and each group received a different fictional city with a specific problem, such as cyberbullying, violence in public spaces, school bullying, discrimination, hate speech, or lack of support and reporting systems.

Each city received a budget of 100 BRAVE Coins. Participants had to decide how to spend their limited budget by choosing different measures such as awareness campaigns, youth support centres, bystander training, digital safety programmes, mental health support, reporting systems, or youth-led initiatives. The challenge was to agree on priorities and create the most effective strategy for their city.

After making their decisions, the groups designed and presented their violence-free cities, explaining which solutions they selected, how they used their 100 coins, and why they believed their strategy would work.

The activity encouraged participants to think critically about prevention, budgeting, cooperation, decision-making and the role of young people in improving their communities. It also showed that creating a safer society requires making choices, setting priorities, and working together. 💙🌍 🌍
