Oggi celebriamo la discesa dello Spirito Santo, una forza che rinnova, dona coraggio e ci spinge a uscire per andare incontro agli altri. È proprio questa stessa spinta che anima il nostro impegno quotidiano come volontari.
Come ricorda il messaggio che abbiamo scelto di condividere con voi oggi:
"Lo Spirito Santo ci invia, la Fede ci unisce, il Servizio ci rende al prossimo."
In ogni nostro intervento, in ogni gesto di cura verso chi soffre o si trova in difficoltà, cerchiamo di essere portatori di quella stessa luce. Indossare la nostra uniforme e la croce ottagona significa rispondere a una chiamata di solidarietà attiva, incarnando la vocazione dell'Ordine di Malta: testimoniare la fede mettendosi al servizio dei più deboli.
Un augurio di cuore a tutta la nostra comunità, ai nostri instancabili volontari e a chiunque ci sostiene ogni giorno. Che questa giornata possa accendere in tutti noi il fuoco della ca**tà e dell'amore fraterno!
🇬🇧 Today we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit, a force that renews, gives courage, and compels us to reach out to others. It is precisely this same drive that animates our daily commitment as volunteers.
As the message we have chosen to share with you today reminds us:
"The Holy Spirit sends us forth, Faith unites us, Service gives us to our neighbor."
In every one of our interventions, in every gesture of care toward those who suffer or are in difficulty, we strive to be bearers of that same light. Wearing our uniform and the eight-pointed cross means answering a call to active solidarity, embodying the vocation of the Order of Malta: to witness the faith by serving the most vulnerable.
Heartfelt wishes to our entire community, to our tireless volunteers, and to everyone who supports us every day. May this day ignite in all of us the fire of charity and fraternal love!
