🐴🐶 What an incredible ECVSMR Scientific Meeting 2026! 🎉

Looking back on a fantastic few days in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, where we welcomed participants from no fewer than 33 countries! 🌍

The event kicked off on Wednesday with a successful Round Table meeting, followed by 9 hands-on workshops on Thursday, bringing together 115 participants for practical learning and knowledge exchange in both equine and small animal sports medicine and rehabilitation.

We were also particularly honoured to welcome Andrea Henderson, President-Elect of the ACVSMR, as our special guest. It was a pleasure to have her join us and strengthen the connections within our international sports medicine and rehabilitation community!

This year also marked a special first: the ECVSMR Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ And what better way to celebrate this premiere than in true Dutch style… with plenty of rain! 🌧️

Of course, it wasn’t all science and education! We also enjoyed a spectacular congress party in a beautiful historic church, complete with a DJ spinning tunes from the pulpit! 🎶💃

A huge thank you to all our speakers, workshop instructors, organisers, sponsors and participants for making this meeting such a memorable event!

📅 Save the date! Next year’s ECVSMR Scientific Meeting will take place in Hannover, Germany, from 21–23 October 2027.

We hope to see you all there for another inspiring meeting!
