MAO Organization è un’associazione culturale di recente costituzione con sede a Torino che ha come obiettivo ultimo la produzione di opere artistiche e la promozione di eventi a sfondo culturale, musicale, sportivo e artistico. La finalità dell’associazione è di fare accostare i soci al mondo artistico e culturale, coinvolgendoli direttamente nella produzione delle opere stesse (ad esempio la reci
ta in un film, l’allestimento di una mostra fotografica, la preparazione di un’opera teatrale, l’organizzazione di un evento sportivo). Altra finalità dell’associazione è di promuovere e dare visibilità alle opere realizzate tramite eventi organizzati in ambito internazionale con l’aiuto dei soci mandatari, ciascuno dei quali risiede ed è responsabile operativo delle attività della MAO Organization nell’ambito del proprio territorio. La relazione con le principali istituzioni, associazioni ed imprese distribuite sul territorio è un ingrediente fondamentale e necessario per permettere alle varie componenti sociali di accedere alle iniziative culturali proposte. La MAO Organization si avvale di collaboratori su tutto il territorio nazionale e nelle principali capitali internazionali. La capillarità consente ai soci di avere un punto di riferimento sulla vita culturale delle città su cui risiede un socio mandatario. Un esempio recente delle attività della MAO Organization è stata la produzione esecutiva e la promozione dell'evento di presentazione del cortometraggio e videoclip musicale "A game (this is not)"
Questo lavoro ci è sembrato davvero un modo interessante e arricchente di
valorizzare i talenti che hanno reso possibile realizzare l'opera (il regista, lo sceneggiatore, i fotografi di scena, i musicisti, etc.) promuovere le opere prodotte al di fuori del territorio di origine sfruttando la capillarità dell'organizzazione ed i soci mandatari
essere attivi e propositivi insieme nel panorama artistico
trovare occasione per conoscerci, bere qualcosa insieme, socializzare per una volta fisicamente e non solo virtualmente
MAO Organization is a cultural association with headquarters in Turin, which mission is the production of works of art and the promotion of them through dedicated cultural, musical, sports and social events. The purpose of the association is to help members involved in some way in the world of art and culture, to product their works (eg. Playing in a movie, setting up a photo exhibition, preparation of a theater piece, the organization of a sport event). Another purpose of the association is to promote and give visibility to the works carried out by events in the international arena with the help of members agents (members mandatari), each of which resides and is responsible for operating activities of MAO Organization as part of its territory. The relationship with government institutions, associations and companies throughout the territory is a key ingredient to allow to get a social audience to the works promoted. The MAO Organization employs staff throughout the national territory (Turin, which is the seat, Milan, Rome, Padua, Verona, Palermo, Catania, Rome, Bologna) and in some international capitals. This capillarity allows members to have a point of reference on the cultural life of the city that hosts the member agent. A recent example of the activities of MAO Organization was the executive production and promotion of the the short film and music video "A game (this is not)"
We think this work has been an interesting and enriching way to:
- promote the talents that have made it possible to realize the work (the director, the screenwriter, the photographers, the musicians, etc.)
- promote the work outside the city, leveraging the ubiquity of the organization and members agents
- be active and proactive with the art scene
- create a different reason to meet, have a drink
together, socialize for once not only physically but virtually
