June 29 is the Feasts of St. Paul and St. Peter, the day they were martyred in Rome during the first century AD. The Chiesa di San Pietro is the mother church for Trivigno and St. Peter is Trivigno's Patron Saint.

After several years, and many starts and stops, the repairs to the church are completed and June 29th is the expected day that regular mass will return to this historic building and the heart of the town.
