ositive transformation of the communities, locally and globally, investing energies and resources to set up high-quality activities. (Vision)
We share a holistic vision of lifelong learning, “cradle-to-grave”, where learning is not limited to formal education: it also integrates non-formal/informal methods of learning which aim to strengthen the capacity, the independence and to develop the personality. We believe that the objectives of education and training should not only be described in terms of employability or economic growth, but also as a framework for personal development. Openness with tolerance, cooperation and integration, accepting others and learning from them; these are the ways through which we want to make reality our goals, having international, multicultural and multilingual teams working together, thanks to Europe as an area of peace and cultural exchange. The peculiar geographical position and history of Sicily, as our homeland: historically, culturally, linguistically, etc.; steers our attention towards lands, cultures, traditions, religions, etc.; principally of the Mediterranean Sea: in order to be valid promoters and ambassadors of them, to share them with the world at our best. We want to promote the present and the future generations: socially, culturally, educationally, sportively, and economically:
increasing the awareness on the existence of international opportunities: in Europe, in the Mediterranean area, in the world;
supporting actions on information, formation, lifelong learning; counseling and career guidance;
promoting partnerships, projects and activities in collaboration with institutions, associations, foundations and other physical or legal persons;
promoting tourism, knowledge about the cultures and the traditions, to become symbiont with our environment and sharing it, protect it, promote it;
bringing together people to build a more inclusive society, responding to societal challenges, empowering experience for people who want to help, learn and develop;
enhancing solidarity while respecting their cultures and their traditions, where it is possible for everyone to contribute in a responsible way to the positive transformation of the local communities, Mediterranean, european and globally. Our main focus is on Sicily as a center of the Mediterranean Sea and its people: ideal place of junction between the european cultures and the Mediterranean ones, already synthesised, in the past, in the peculiar Sicilian Culture; which we commit ourselves to: keep, promote, resurrect again and progress; that for all the generation of the past, the present and the future. Cooperating and supporting:
organizations, centers, and companies, etc.; that see value in having international, multicultural and multilingual teams working together;
enhancing international exchange, mobility for learning and formation; the different typology of education, the sensibilisation and the cooperation. Organising and supporting:
innovative and learning experiences, courses, seminars, conferences, camps, workshops, cultural, artistic, sportives, recreational, educative events, with formal methods-based activities or in the sphere of education non-formal/informal;
informing the people, especially the youngsters, of opportunities in the educational, cultural and social fields;
promoting European and international projects;
All of this making meaningful contributions to society and showing solidarity, cooperation, mutual understanding and ecology.
