Ogni due anni, in occasione della Biennale Europea, il paese di Stia in Casentino, si riafferma come culla dell’Arte Fabbrile per artisti, apprendisti e amanti di forgiatura, provenienti da tutto il mondo. Una dimostrazione di tecnica e passione imperdibile per coloro che di edizione in edizione partecipano, e per chi ancora non ne ha avuto l’occasione. Un evento a cui accorrere per riscoprire in

chiave moderna quest’arte cosi antica, in una location cosi suggestiva. La valle del Casentino si presta paesaggisticamente come sfondo della Biennale. Terra ricca di storia, patrimonio artistico e culturale, offre inoltre molteplici possibilità di degustare piatti tipici toscani e prodotti locali. 🔥 CI SIAMO. IL CINQUANTENARIO STA PER INIZIARE.

Siamo alle porte di tre giorni speciali, pronti a celebrare a Stia 50 anni di fuoco, ferro, arte, incontri e passione.

E mentre ci prepariamo all’inaugurazione, le forge sono pronte ad accendersi anche per dare vita a qualcosa di nuovo.

⚒️ Il 4 e 5 settembre prenderanno il via i lavori per la realizzazione del nuovo cancello della Scuola di Forgiatura S.T.I.A. Academy, nato dal progetto vincitore del 10° Concorso Internazionale di Progettazione e Disegno “Pier Luigi della Bordella” – Biennale 2025.
Ma venerdì 4 settembre sarà soltanto l’inizio.

🔥 Dalle ore 8:00 si accendono le forge in Piazza G. Mazzini

🏛️ Ore 10:30 – Cerimonia di apertura del Cinquantenario in Piazza B. Tanucci

🎙️ Ore 17:00 – “50 anni di Fuoco… tra incudine e martello” al Teatro Comunale

🎶 Ore 21:00 – La festa continua in musica in Piazza B. Tanucci

Il momento più atteso!
Sabato 5 settembre è la giornata in cui il ferro battuto incontrerà uno dei protagonisti assoluti dell’arte contemporanea italiana.

Alle 17 il Teatro Comunale ospiterà la presentazione dell'incontro tra la Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte e la Biennale Europea d’Arte Fabbrile di Stia.

L'evento illustrerà la genesi dell’opera realizzata dai maestri fabbri dedicata ed ispirata al “Terzo Paradiso” di Michelangelo Pistoletto, con gli interventi di Paolo Naldini, Direttore della Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, Armona Pistoletto e dei curatori Loris Innocenti e Tommaso Venco di Hexisart.

Qui il pensiero di Andrea Gennai, direttore del Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi.

Un dono speciale unirà Stia e la Lituania, il nuovo Percorso d’Arte trasformerà il paese in un museo a cielo aperto e lo sguardo sarà già rivolto alla prossima grande avventura: la XXVII Biennale Europea d’Arte Fabbrile 2027.

Master blacksmiths Roberto Magni and Martino Stenico tell us about the greatest technical challenge involved in creating the wrought-iron artwork Third Paradise and, above all, the emotion of bringing such a remarkable work to life.

This will be followed by the OFFICIAL UNVEILING at the PALAGIO FIORENTINO in Stia.
