i. Ma sono anche tante le cose che ci uniscono, non solo tra di noi, ma anche con chi è nato e vive a Siena: oramai siamo "vicini", viviamo accanto e molto spesso affrontiamo le stesse difficoltà. Comunicando, parlandoci apertamente, non solo possiamo costruire dei “ponti” per capirci meglio, ma possiamo anche risolvere le difficoltà comuni, contribuire allo sviluppo di questo territorio e stare bene tutti insieme. Il progetto “Possiamo anke sbagliare” è nato con l’obiettivo di trovare un linguaggio comune e delle intersezioni culturali tra i senesi e gli stranieri. Il nome del progetto non è stato scelto a caso: possiamo sbagliare letteralmente, perché l’italiano non è la nostra madrelingua. Possiamo avere anche delle percezioni, comportamenti e reazioni sbagliate, perché abbiamo background molto diversi. Comunicando, passo dopo passo inizieremo a sbagliare sempre meno. Siamo aperti a qualsiasi tipo di collaborazione. Condividete le vostre idee, le informazioni rilevanti al progetto, gli eventi! Foreigners represent 11% of the population of the Province of Siena; this statistics only counts residents. Together with students and non-residents there is a lot more of us. All of us have brought our own experience from home, that may differ a lot from the Sienese one. We speak different languages; we’re used to different traditions and have different habits. But we also have a lot in common. We’re all neighbors now (whether born here or chosen this place to live), we face common challenges and problems. Communicating and openly speaking, not only we can build bridges to understand each other better, but also resolve common problems, contribute to the development of the territory and, thus, to being well together. The project “Possiamo anke sbagliare” (“We may also make mistakes”) is born with the aim to find a common language and cultural intersections between the Sienese and foreigners. The name of the project refers to mistakes that we as foreigners may make here. We’re not native Italians, so we can literally say things wrong in Italian. We can be mistaken in our impressions, behaviors, reactions, just because we have different backgrounds. Step by step we will learn to mistake less. The project is open to any collaboration.
