This week, , Poland, became a meeting point for collaboration, learning, and experimentation.
Daniele Quadrellaro and Clarissa Garrubba joined the ESG4PMChange community for a week dedicated to connecting ideas, people, and purpose.
Alongside the core project activities, we activated pilot workshops of the training programme ESG for Project Management, engaging students from all partner countries in a hands-on learning journey.

During the session "Designing ESG Projects That Work in Reality", our team brought insights from the experience of the Future Food Institute's perspective. Sharing our Integral Ecology framework and reflecting on real projects implemented.

The ESG4PMChange project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, unites 14 partners across 7 countries 🇮🇹 🇵🇱 🇷🇸 🇬🇷 🇧🇪 🇱🇻 🇭🇷. Young voices exploring the future of food.
At the Scuderia - Future Food Living Lab, we welcomed a class of students from Council on International Educational Exchange CIEE Study Abroad visiting Italy from the United States.

Through dialogue, food, and cultural exchange, the session became a moment of gastrodiplomacy in action: sharing Bologna's traditions while discussing the challenges of today’s global food systems and the role of younger generations in shaping a more regenerative future.

At Future Food Institute, education is where transformation begins.

Reflecting on the future of Nara as a living ecosystem.
In Nara Prefecture, , Future Food Institute facilitated an ecosystem dialogue workshop together with Nara Women’s University, Nara National Institute of Higher Education and Research, and NAFIC.

The session was led by Alessandro Fusco, Global Director of Innovation and Corporate Education at FFI, with the support of Ayaka Onodera, Project Manager and Media Strategist at FFI in Japan.

The workshop created a shared space for dialogue, bringing together different perspectives to reflect on the territory as an ecosystem.

Participants explored how local challenges and opportunities can connect with a global perspective, and how collaboration across actors can help shape pathways for long-term transformation and collective action.

Through genuine dialogue and collaboration, territories can uncover new ways to grow, connect, and shape their future together.

Last week at Scuderia - Future Food Living Lab we welcomed a delegation of 20 guests — architects, farmers and private sector leaders from Japan — to explore how food, agriculture, and community intertwine to generate territorial value.

Through dialogue and shared experiences, we reflected on regenerative models, cooperative approaches, and multi-stakeholder collaboration — asking what becomes possible when we design the future with a regenerative mindset.

Part of the experience was the Edible Connections lunch, designed by our Food Alchemist team and conceived as a path through taste and meaning. A seven-course exploration where umami — a flavor rooted in Japanese research yet deeply present across cultures — became the connector, reminding us that food can serve as a shared language across geographies.

The reflections sparked in Bologna will now travel back to Japan — carrying new questions, new connections, and a shared commitment to turning regeneration into lived practice within local communities.

🔛 🍎 Last week we kicked off the final year of the European Switch Diet project in Donostia / San Sebastián!

The Future Food Institute team gathered together with all project partners for three intense days of exchange, alignment, and planning. As leaders of communication and dissemination, we shared the progress of the work carried out so far and coordinated the final phase of activities to ensure impact, visibility, and engagement across Europe.

Together, we’re setting the direction for the last stretch of the project—continuing to drive the transition toward a healthier and more sustainable food system.
