(Gruppo Erasmus Siena) is a non-profit student organization, without any religious or political link. It is regularly registered, recognized and cooperates with the International Relations Office of UNISI and UNISTRASI. The members of the association are both foreign and Italian students who usually are attending or have attended an exchange program abroad such as Erasmus+. Every year ESN Siena GE

S deals with the integration of exchange students in the University community and in the Sienese cultural and social life. Each year more than 600 students take part in our association and become members. Principal Activities are:
- Welcome and Tutorial for foreing students (research for accomodation, guided visit of faculties and the city)
- Informations to italian students interested in Erasmus mobilities.
- Recreational activities (Museums visits, Sport activities, Language tandems, trips, Social Inclusion activities) to promote the cultural exchange of members from different nationalities. ESN Siena GES is part of The Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. We are present in more than 430 Higher Education Institutions from 37 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. We have around 13.500 active members that are in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 29.000 young people offering its services to around 180.000 international students every year.

BioBlitz🍃 is a free initiative of citizen science in which citizens, guided by expert naturalists, are involved in a scientific activity: knowing, searching and identifying as many organisms as possible: animals, plants, fungi, lichens. 🔎🐛🦗🪶🍄

The initiative was carried out for the purpose of dissemination, education and scientific research on urban biodiversity. The event will take place in Siena in Valle di Porta Giustizia, which access is at San Niccolò palace in Via Roma, 56.
