This year, we will explore the theme:
"Addressing Contemporary Challenges Facing African Children and Young People"

Through an engaging online dialogue, we will reflect on the challenges, opportunities, and aspirations of African children and youth today. Most importantly, the event will feature the active participation and voices of children themselves.

We warmly invite students, educators, and Youth Empowerment Club members to take part in this meaningful conversation and stand together in support of children's rights and well-being.

For the International Day of Action for Women's Health, the Girls Empowerment Club took action. The Marist Comprehensive College in Nteje, Nigeria hosted its annual program to build leadership, public speaking, and health literacy among female students. 📣

Students took part in interactive sessions on self-esteem, reproductive health, personal hygiene, and emotional well-being to gain practical knowledge and confidence.

The debate, “Menstruation Should Be Discussed Openly in Public Without Shame,” fostered critical thinking, communication skills, and awareness of menstrual health issues. 🤝

The event concluded with the distribution of educational materials and hygiene kits, reinforcing healthy practices at home and school.

Ensuring access to quality healthcare and equitable health services is essential to protecting human dignity, equality, and human rights for all. 🌍

La Diligence, une clé de la réussite

La diligence est une qualité essentielle pour réussir dans la vie. Une personne diligente accomplit ses tâches avec sérieux, motivation et persévérance. Même lorsque les difficultés apparaissent, elle continue d’avancer sans abandonner.
