📢 **PIRDA Project Kick-off: Building Pathways to Inclusion**
We are pleased to share the launch of **PIRDA – Pathways to Inclusion: Understanding Romani Religious Diversity and Cultural Adaptation**, an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Adult Education.
On **24 April 2026**, project partners from **Greece, Italy, Serbia and Bulgaria** came together online for the first Transnational Project Meeting. The meeting established a common understanding of the project objectives, responsibilities and implementation steps, with particular attention to the shared research methodology under WP2.
The partnership agreed on a common framework for qualitative research, including interviews, focus groups, participant observation and field documentation, while ensuring ethical standards, informed consent and culturally sensitive implementation.
🔎 **Next steps include:**
• finalising the Research Methodology and Guidelines;
• implementing fieldwork across partner countries;
• preparing qualitative data for comparative analysis;
• reviewing progress at the next Transnational Project Meeting;
• developing comparative findings, policy recommendations and the first scientific publication.
Through cooperation between academic institutions and community-based organisations, PIRDA aims to generate knowledge and resources that contribute to meaningful inclusion across Europe.
