All the photos we have here belonged to someone until the fateful day, March 11th 2011. This fundraising exhibit originated from “The Project Salvage Memory” started by a team of young researchers, who felt the need to return the photographs which were swept by the tsunami to their owners. What we have here are the photos recovered but damaged beyond recognition rendering them un-returnable. We believe these photos have powerful messages of the untold stories that any other media failed to impart. We are collecting donations at the exhibit for one of the affected areas, Yamamoto in Miyagi Prefecture, where these photos were recovered. PAST EXHIBITION:

LOST & FOUND PROJECT
