A great start for the Global Soil Partnership 14 Plenary Assembly with the remarks of FAO Director General “soil is a long-term issue as without it there is no food”. The IUSS Secretariat is pleased to be part of such venue and to strengthen the IUSS longstanding collaboration with the GSP and FAO and welcomes the remarks of Prof. Ganlin Zhang newly elected Chair of Division 1 starting his mandate next January.
