So, the first ever foreign tour by the NCS came to a glorious conclusion last night as we sang Duruflé's sublime Requiem in the Victorian splendour of Keble College Chapel, Oxford, illuminated by the setting sun.
On the preceding 2 days we had sung Evensong at St. George's, Hanover Square, London, and the 'Great' C minor Mass by Mozart at Sll Saints, High Wycombe.
Of course we could not have done all this on our own, and the Oxford-based Ex Collegio, in its 45th year, not only shared the events with us, but also looked after us royally in their various homes.
A wonderful collaboration that we will remember with enormous affection for a very long time!
