A Report from Michel COTTRAY

At the eve of season, the France & Monaco EHMA chapter most recently met in Nice at the superb Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, a Leading Hotel of the World, managed by our member Arnaud Joly. We were able to secure as our Guest Speaker Jean-Paul GOMIS, the renowned architect behind many prestigious residential, institutional and hospitality projects such as the Anantara Plaza, La Maison Albar Le Victoria, Hotel Martinez and many more. Jean-Paul Gomis conducted us through recent and on-going projects including a top-end Luxury Hotel to open in Beaulieu in a few years. The dynamism of the development in the French Riviera was demonstrated, from many new-built properties to complete renovations of iconic properties. Following the presentation, an excellent lunch was served on the rooftop terrace, accompanied by Champagne Bruno Paillard sponsored through disvin, a regional wine merchant, and in the presence of the Chef Sommelier Laurent Tavernier and Jean Philippe Jaunet, the Commercial Director. It was an excellent opportunity to introduce our new members Chrystelle Billard from Hotel Canberra in Cannes and Leslie Cherfils from the neighboring Maison Albar Hotels in Nice.

𝗔 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘
This year’s edition sends a clear message: sustainability in hospitality is evolving from intention to measurable impact, where transparency, data, and real outcomes define true leadership.
