Through an original mix of animation and archive footage, the film explores how young people — particularly those of second-generation backgrounds — can use art to express themselves freely, connect with others and find their place in the world.

Euro-Arab coproduction of TV documentaries
𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐒, 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒

The Mediterranean has always been far more than a geographical space: it is a crossroads of civilizations, a place of circulation for peoples, ideas, languages, and knowledge.
Inter Rives #11 aims to tell stories about this continuous exchange, where the legacies of the past are transmitted, transformed, and still expressed today through cultural, artistic, and social practices.

The 𝟏° 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 was held on 7 and 8 September in Rome, hosted by COPEAM with the support of RAI.
The film directors from 𝐀𝐥𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚, 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐞, 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐪, 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲, 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚 discussed and shared the editorial approach, the working methods and their documentary ideas.

Next meeting in Tunis, at ASBU headquarters, in March 2027 to screen together the documentaries' rough-cuts and finalise the collection.

🎼Salem Ali Saeed – known as the Ambassador of Omani Song.
🎼Khaled Al Sheikh – Bahraini composer, singer, and musician.
🎼Salah El Mahdi – the Tunisian composer known as the Ziryab of Tunisia.
🎼Mohammed Al-Qubbanchi – known as the Lyre of Iraq and celebrated as the Singer of the Century.
🎼Tawfiq Al-Nimri – pioneer of the Jordanian song tradition.
🎼Nasri Shamseddine – Lebanese singer and stage actor.
🎼Baligh Hamdi – Egyptian composer, singer, and musician.
🎼Noubli Fadel – Algerian composer and musician.
🎼Abdulaziz Nasser – Qatari composer.

💥The new international radio co-production promoted by اتحاد اذاعات الدول العربية - asbu and COPEAM is ready to hit the airwaves: 𝑨𝒓𝒂𝒃 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔

The first 13 episodes are now ready for broadcast on partner radio stations. From September, the other episodes will come.

Following the success of the co-production 𝐴𝑟𝑎𝑏 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑜𝑝ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 - 𝐴𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑟𝑦, this new series explores the rich history and legacy of Arab music, with the first episodes now available.

Once again, an exceptionally broad and diverse partnership has come together: 𝟏𝟗 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟗 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 have joined forces to produce an Arabic-language cultural radio series celebrating the richness of Arab musical heritage.
